No. DressThatMan.com is strictly a warehouse mailroom operation. We exist solely on the Internet. We ship our merchandise directly to you from the State of Michigan.
No. Sorry, but DressThatMan.com does NOT offer merchandise on rental or on loan. After careful consideration, we don’t anticipate a change to that policy in the future. There are other avenues for costume rental that may be available to you locally or, possibly online.
We have worked with many costume departments, designers, production companies, theater groups, etc. and we can work out an arrangement with you in regard to extending the normal turnaround times to allow for proper fittings.
No. Sorry, but “buying back” clothing is no different from renting clothing, which we do not do.
No. Although mens vintage clothing is our true passion and it is what we have the most of - it’s not unheard of to find some random modern day mens items here, too. The details are listed on every item and we can assure you that we will never represent modern day items as “vintage.”

No. For security purposes, our staff does NOT see your credit card payment details - and, we have no “other way” of placing an order for you. All orders are placed online by the buyer on the DressThatMan.com website.
After selecting items online and adding them to your cart, you’ll choose a shipping option during the checkout process. We offer standard weight-based shipping via USPS (United States Postal Service) and, we also offer UPS overnight and UPS 2-day air shipping upgrades to the contiguous United States for an additional fee (exclusions are: NO shipping upgrades for shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, etc.).

If you’ve entered all of the correct information and the order still won’t go through, please contact your credit card issuer for more information. The contact information can be found on the back of your card. We have no control over Credit Card payment authorization and acceptance, the best advice we can give you is to follow the error codes on the screen to correct it.
Most Common Reasons for an Order Failing
CVV ERROR: When using a credit card during the checkout process, our shopping cart requires the input of a CVV number. What’s that? It’s an authentication verification number established by credit card companies to reduce fraud, and you’ll find this 3 or 4 digit number on your credit card which helps verify the actual card is in your possession.
ADDRESS ERROR: Your credit card issuer has your address on file. Your billing address must match your billing statement on the card you are using.
Can you force an order through for me?
Sorry, but No. For security purposes, our staff does NOT see your credit card payment details - and, we have no “other way” of placing an order for you. All orders are placed online by the buyer on the DressThatMan.com website.
Upon placing a successful order, you will first see a message on the screen and then you will automatically receive an email confirmation that we have received it. All customers will receive package tracking information sent to the email address used when the order was placed once it’s packed and ready for pickup.
Didn’t get an email? Sometimes, emails are misrouted and end up in your spam box - so, check there first. Occasionally, a customer makes an error in their email address and they don’t get any email at all. If you messed up your email address, please contact us as soon as possible so we can get the tracking information to you at the correct email address.
If you request that your order be shipped to an alternative address, to prevent ourselves and other consumers against fraud and identity theft, you may be required provide a copy of your driver's license or passport, the name of the issuing bank and telephone number that appears on the back of the credit card used, and/or a copy of the order with your signature on it.

If you are a new International customer residing outside of the USA and place an order with DressThatMan.com, you may be asked to provide proof of identity before any merchandise is shipped. While we have many loyal International customers, foreign orders pose more fraud risk for online merchants in the USA. After we receive your ID, you’ll be able to order from us at any time in the future and your order will be shipped without delay.

Our International parcels are shipped out using the United States Postal Service. We do NOT offer expedited shipping to International locations.

The liability from DressThatMan.com as the seller to you (the addressee/receiver/buyer) ends when the status of the USPS (or alternatively, FedEx) package tracking information is marked/shown as “Delivered” or “Notice Left.” Until this happens, we are fully responsible for lost packages.
Since USPS and FedEx automatically insure each package up to $100.00, if you have a large order - we may increase the insurance and/or add a signature at our discretion.
Please note: FedEx requires a signature on ALL packages with a value of $500.00 and up.
DressThatMan.com reserves the right, at our discretion, to add a signature confirmation for ANY order we send out.
If your package hasn’t arrived, first check the tracking number provided - as this will generally provide the all of the information you need. On rare occasions, we have had packages take a rerouted detour only to make a delayed appearance to the addressee with further explanation. If you do NOT receive a tracking number (first check your SPAM box) in the email you used to place the order, buyers should contact us to confirm the order was received/shipped.
If the USPS or FedEx tracking does NOT say “Delivered” or “Notice Left,” and the buyer never received the package, DressThatMan.com as the seller is liable for issuing the refund or replacing the products.
If the tracking DOES state “Delivered” or “Notice Left,” the transaction is complete and DressThatMan.com is no longer responsible for replacing or refunding the item(s). If the buyer has not received the package, please ask your neighbors, family; the apartment manager (if applicable) and/or speak to your local post office (they may be holding the package) or FedEx Office - if possible, speak directly with the carrier who delivered the package. Someone else may have accepted the parcel. If you believe your parcel was stolen, we would encourage you to file a police report as well as a complaint with your local USPS and/or FedEx Office.
Essentially, when an order is packed and a tracked package is marked as successfully delivered or notice left, we have fulfilled our obligation and are no longer responsible for issuing a refund or replacement order.
Questions about Merchandise
We make every effort to offer you top notch Men’s Vintage Clothing! We also strive to take clear photos and give accurate descriptions. Our clothing is predominantly clean and undamaged. Any gently pre-worn clothing that we offer has been freshly cleaned, steamed, packed and is ready to go.
In the event of any exceptions to these rules (damaged or items left in an unclean state), that information would also be clearly noted in the description. We also take the time to measure each and every item individually so YOU can get the best fit by following the SIZING section directions.
We currently have a SUPER RARE selection of UNWORN mens authentic 1970s XL, 2XL, and 3XL and UP size men’s shirts. That’s right! Brand new mens vintage shirts in the original packaging from the 70s in larger man sizing have always been incredibly difficult to source. And, back in the seventies the vast majority of Men wore a Medium size shirt! We know this based on our experience with multiple boxes of previously unopened Men’s shirts from the 1970s - which had NO shirts in the larger men’s sizes beyond an occasional XL within the packs.
We believe in our merchandise and guarantee 100% that you’ll get exactly what we describe in the item listing. Of course, monitor and screen resolutions vary and we have no idea of how something may look on your device. We’ll often (but not always) describe color to the best of our ability within the item listing. If you have ANY questions before you buy, don’t hesitate to CONTACT us.
Questions about Policies
We take fraud seriously at DressThatMan.com. To protect our customers, we don’t see or store credit card payment information on our secure server. Payments received for merchandise are handled by a separate entity and are encrypted. We are committed to keeping your personal data safe and secure. Your personal data is actually more secure here than if you allow someone to pick up your credit card and walk away with it to process your payment for dinner at a restaurant.
ATTENTION SCAMMERS: The one exception to our privacy policy rule of NOT disclosing personal information you have submitted that we have obtained via our shopping cart, is as follows: if you place a fraudulent order or suspected fraudulent order, place a foreign order using a credit card issued in the USA, repeatedly attempt to order to a delivery address with various credit cards, or… issue a chargeback in which we have proof that the merchandise was delivered to the address specified - your name, delivery address, email, IP address and ANY other identifiable information gathered may be turned over to the proper authorities and/or may be publicly noted in our blog and/or on social media.
DressThatMan.com will NEVER put you on a mailing list! You CAN voluntarily sign up for our Freaking Blog and you can easily unsubscribe to that at any time. Also, you can create an account to track any orders you make here. Rest assured that we will never share or sell your personally identifiable information when you shop online with us, unless you are attempting to (or have placed) a fraudulent order - otherwise, there is no other reason for us to ever disclose any information we have received.
